FAQ's

I don't live anywhere near you. How effective can my coaching be?
  • 60% of my clients attend their coaching sessions over the phone. This method is every bit as effective as a face to face appointment. The industry statistics are that an average client stays with their coach for 1.2 months. My average is 6.5 months; and even if my client takes a break, the majority come back for assistance with their next stage of growth.

Can I hire you for a specific project?

  • Yes. Many time clients will consult a coach just to prepare for a big interview, move through a specific transition, or tackle a specific situation or problem.

What's the free session all about?

  • The objective of your free session is to give you the chance to see how the coaching session works, if you'd enjoy working with Carroll, and whether you feel she can help you reach your objectives. It's a fun, light session; at the end you'll see options you didn't feel you had and choices you can use to set up the business or life that you want.

What happens when we start working together?

  • Most clients work with Carroll on a weekly basis at about the same time each week, giving them time to progress through the objectives. Carroll will evaluate your situation with you and pick the biggest problem you have, tackling that one first by discovering and getting you working within your strengths. When the largest issue you're wrestling with is resolved, you'll find that many of the smaller issues will have taken care of themselves. Carroll provides objectives, accountability and an anchor from deviation of your focus. She asks a lot of questions helping you to see choices, options as well as progress.

What will the coaching procedure be like?

  • Each session lasts 45 minutes and is very similar to working with an athletic coach. She's both a mentor and motivator and will push you hard when it's needed. The sessions are fun and exciting because you'll see yourself moving toward your goals, you know you have someone in your court who serves as a backup, helps you see more options and opens your ability to think outside of the box. You'll be discovering your strengths and will be able to make decisions from a more positive, action oriented perspective diminishing fear, doubt and hesitancy.

How does coaching compare to therapy?

  • Coaching is future oriented rather than looking a lot at the past. Time is not spent on problems from the past that probably stemmed from your weaknesses; but instead looks to discovering and capitalizing on your strengths in order to optimize your present and future.

What is Carroll's background?

  • Carroll is certified in Myers-Briggs, human resources, Irlen screener, train the trainer. She draws from a vast wealth of experience that ranges from her many successes as well as mistakes, house-mothering delinquent children, being around progressive religious leaders, teaching hospitalized obese patients, coaching entrepreneurs, CEO's and other's who want to capitalize on their strengths.
